Fatigue Testing Seminar Day
Join our Fatigue Testing Seminar Day on 5th of February 2019!
In a one-day event you will be presented with the expert knowledge on Very High Cycle Fatigue (VHCF), as well as recent advances and new developments in its application regarding additive manufacturing (AM) challenges. The USF-2000A system guarantees precise fatigue service life evaluations of AM materials. Since the AM process offers a high level of design freedom, it provides a new basis in the creation of lightweight structures. In order to prevent fatigue failure of AM-manufactured structures, a microstructure-based process-accompanying characterization of the performance has to be carried out time- and cost-efficiently. The new test methods based on ultrasonic fatigue (USF) provide very fast fatigue life data, thereby significantly reducing the time from idea through development to final product.
